COM membership is open to Christians of all denominations. There is no national membership fees or dues. The only requirement is a willingness to join other Christian campers in fellowship and mission endeavors while sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

If you enjoy ministering with a group, consider joining Campers on Mission. COM holds a national rally each year, usually in June, for fellowship, training, and planning specific missions projects. In addition, two regional rallies are also held - one each in the eastern half and in the western half of the country.

Campers worship together, swap reports of God at work, and attend a variety of seminars to better equip them for service. Members learn everything from effective witnessing to clowning techniques. For example, a recent rally offered sessions on balloon sculptures, campground worship, crafts, fairs and festivals, and marketplace evangelism.

Since the birth of the national Campers on Mission, 25 state-level chapters have developed. These chapters also offer rallies throughout the year.
